The blossoming Ten One Records is an independent electronic label that continues to go from strength to strength. Label co-founder Air Jackson has fifteen years of experience within Dublin's underground music scene, and has performed at the major venues and festivals across Ireland. Five tracks long, Air Jackson’s ‘The Beekeeper’s’ EP is a carefully crafted collection of raw and straightforward melodic house, techno and breaks that reveals the innermost layer to his impeccable production skills.

Opening cut ‘It’s Patchy’ works punchy percussion, progressive builds and a head bopping bassline to great effect. ‘Well Tempered’ slots in perfectly with a modern electronica aesthetic and an almighty climax of bustling pads, trippy vocal chops and a menacing bassline. Title track ‘The Beekeeper’ continues the intergalactic vibe with entrancing effects, soothing beats and slick drum licks. ‘J.I.M.’ steals the package, providing listeners with a complete shock to the system via jungalist breaks, tugging expressions and a blistering speed. Finally, ‘Hibernia’ is wrapped in sumptuous synths, delicate melodies and rich textures to shape up proceedings in fine fashion.
